Wendy Korene is simply amazing. Each time I have had to put in a work order she goes above and beyond to ensure the issue is addressed. We had to replace our AC unit and she followed through with phone calls to the owner and ensured the unit was replaced and working well. Most recently my garage door wasn't working. Wendy sent me some troubleshooting tips and then when that did not work she immediately put in a work order to have it looked at. Butler Property company has been amazing to me and my kids these past 3.5 years and I know this is due to the awesome people that work there! Thank you, Wendy!
Wendy has been so helpful and kind!! Our refrigerator went out and she has been working with the repair company, owners, and various vendors to get us a replacement in a timely manner. We are very impressed with Butler Management and how responsive they are to our maintenance requests, questions and anything else we need! Thank you for all you do!
RENTERS BEWARE!
I had the misfortune of renting a property from Butler Property Company, LLC, and I must say that it has been an absolutely dreadful experience. I feel compelled to share my negative encounters with this company to warn others before they make the same mistake I did.
First and foremost, the communication within the company is abysmal. When you call you can only leave a message, you’ll never get anyone live and when they call back, it's like they're playing a game of telephone, where important messages get lost or distorted along the way. I cannot count the number of times I've been given conflicting information by different members of their staff. It's frustrating and shows a complete lack of organization and accountability.
Maintenance requests were a whole other nightmare. Not only was the communication and coordination of the repairs absolutely horrible, but they would try to find ways to blame you for the issue and tell you “per the lease agreement…” and if they couldn’t do that, they would find a way to completely inconvenience you by hiring vendors that only work during the weekdays requiring you to take time off from your job to be there for a block of time. I’ve taken off so much work time and even had their vendor do a no call/no show on me on one occasion. It seemed like their main objective was to cut corners and save money rather than providing a safe and comfortable living environment for their tenants.
Butler Property Company lacks transparency! Every time I tried to do the “right thing” such as give more than 60 days advance Notice to Vacate, they would remind me of all the things I would be required to do such as; allowing them to put a lockbox on my door 60 days prior to move out so they can show the home ANYTIME without advance notice and while I am still living in it – complete lack of privacy and respect. I am scheduled to move out on July 8, 2023, and will have paid my full July rent on July 1st, per the lease agreement, but I was told that I am still required to keep ALL utility services active through July 31, 2023, or I will be in breach of my lease agreement and will forfeit my hefty security deposit. Very frustrating!
Butler Property Company has shown a complete lack of empathy and understanding when it came to any personal circumstances I faced during my tenancy. Their go to answer for everything is “per your lease agreement…” They were inflexible and unsympathetic to my needs, making it clear that their primary concern was collecting rent and nothing else.
I urge anyone considering renting from Butler Property Company, LLC to think twice. Their poor communication, lack of transparency, lackluster maintenance, and complete disregard for tenant satisfaction make them a company that should be avoided at all costs. There are plenty of other property management companies out there who genuinely care about their tenants and strive to provide exceptional service. Butler Property Company, LLC is definitely not one of them.
This is a wonderful company! Mary is incredibly helpful and does an incredible job, as does the entirety of the staff! They have wonderful agents as well! The company goes out of their way to help every tenant with their needs while also maintaining high renting standards for the property owners! If I could give 10 stars, I would!
I live at one of the properties they “manage”
They will charge you for EVERYTHING and I mean they even want to charge residents for pest control, in an apartment building infested with bugs.
Horrible responses if we ever get any. Do yourself a favor and find rental properties not managed by this property “management” company.
It's been great working with Butler Property Company over the last seven years. The entire team is prompt with communications and resolving any issues. Working with Wendy in maintenance has been a seamless experience - she's helped to resolve issues quickly and provide a positive outcome for all.
I recently applied for a property Butler was managing. I will upfront say I was short of making 3x the rent by $100 and because of this they denied me very quickly before even doing confirmations on my rental background or getting employment verifications. It's funny because my wife got a raise the next week and we would have then qualified. I worked with Jenny on this lease and it was a pretty sad experience for someone looking for a safe place to live with my new daughter and wife. Jenny did not care about that and did not work with me at all to try to find a solution that could work. I have good credit and a perfect rental history but that small number being short made them completely ghost me but still keep the $150 i paid in rental applications. Not to mention they told me realtor they would be adding a fridge to the rental but then told me they weren't going to. Who rents a place without a fridge? At the end of the day, all Butler cares about is making money and not actually matching safe and reliable tenets with good property. Jenny was not there to help me and made me question the integrity of leasing agents!
My name is Kelvin Flores (my unit had mold) man I have a balance that went to collections right. I try calling Butler Property and get some help they take me to contact the collection agency which I did to lower the balance $5,900 to $4,500 the agency told me it’s up to Butler and doesn’t wanna help me out crazy part is that When I moved in there was mold, no pole to hang your cloth, fridge always had bugs for some reason, will charge $7a day for being late, what else they charge me $1k for “deposit” fee like I already gave you my deposit but charge me $1k what is that man anyway whoever reads this make sure to check everything before signing that contract no going back.
